When Pooh met Pacmom
November 9, 2009
Comedian Pooh finally met Dionisia “Pacmom” Pacquiao during the shooting for the TV ad of their endorsement of a food supplement.
Nagkuwentuhan kami, tapos nagkutkot [siya] ng paa, nagtaas ng paa… tawa lang kami ng tawa!” he fondly recalled in an interview held at the East Dragon Room of Aberdeen Court on Nov. 6.
Pooh said they easily broke the ice by speaking the Visayan dialect. “Marunong akong mag-Cebuano, tapos salita niya Bisaya, kaya nagkuwentuhan kami in Bisaya.” The Manny Pacquiao impersonator said that Pacmom was surprised to see him looking like her son, pound for pound king Manny.
Pooh shared. He said all is well between ‘Manny Pooh-quiao’ (Pooh’s name when impersonating Manny) and the boxing champ’s family, including Mommy Dionisia. The comedian said he has been blessed in impersonating Manny.
O, diba, lahat ng mga ‘–in?’” he kidded. Although unsure if he’ll be able to attend the premiere night of Dionisia’s first movie, “Ang Tanging Pamilya,” Pooh gave her a message ala-Manny. “Ma, keep up the good work. Everything will happen, and you know, just pray. That’s all, thank you all very much,” said. Manny Pooh-quiao is proud of her ‘mother’s’ performance in the film.
Pooh and Dionisia endorse OsteoGard, a natural food supplement designed to pre-empt Osteo-Arthritis (also known as degenerative joint disease). According to a press release, OsteoGard contains 500mg. of glucosamine, a safe and more potent dosage to promote the formation and repair of cartilage. It also contains chondroitin sulfate that helps the repair of cartilage by water retention and elasticity to inhibit the enzymes that break down cartilage. OsteoGard is a product of Corbridge Group Philippines, one of the country’s established pharmaceutical companies.
